In Loving Memory of The Honorable Tung Chee Hwa | Musicus Honorary Patron

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Honorary Patron, The Honorable Tung Chee Hwa.

At Musicus, we will always remember the extraordinary support he has given us through The Tung Foundation, which continues to support our work. His belief in the arts and in the next generation makes so much of what we do possible, from nurturing young musicians to enabling our cross-cultural projects.

As our artistic director Trey Lee recalls fondly, "His warmth and genuine care brought great encouragement to our artists and students whenever he attended our events. He chose to give quietly, but the impact of his generosity has changed lives and will resonate in our music for years to come."
