Congratulations to winners of Young Artist Audition and Call for Scores 2020

We are delighted to announce the results for our Young Artist Audition and Call for Scores 2020. This year, we continue to receive enthusiastic responses from high-calibre Hong Kong-born musicians who live in different cities around the world. We are so pleased to see that the pandemic does not stop our young musicians from reaching new heights. All winning artists will be invited to perform or compose for our future concerts and events. Let us extend our heartfelt congratulations to these winners.

Jeremy has performed around the world and had appeared on the stages at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall. As an avid chamber musician, he has participated in festivals including the Taos School of Music, Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, Juilliard’s ChamberFest and New York String Orchestra Seminar. Having completed his Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School, he will continue his studies at the Yale School of Music in the coming semester.
As a current student at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Tsz-hin has received various scholarships, including The Lions Music Charity Foundation Scholarship and the Musicus Society Trey Lee Scholarship. He has been commissioned by his alma mater, King’s College, to compose for its Chinese Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Concert. Recently, he has been commissioned to compose for the Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble.
Jason’s compositions has won him numerous awards and were performed by notable groups in various places, including Australia, Austria, USA and Hong Kong. His recent commissions include Synthesis for The Learners Chorus and Orchestra, and Forlorn for St. Paul’s Co-educational College Senior Mixed Voice Choir.
