Summer softens into memory as we look toward autumn, a season of harvest, abundance, and reunion. Set within the Hong Kong News-Expo, housed in a historic 1953 market at Bridges Street near Wing Lee Street, this program brings live chamber music together with archival glimpses of Hong Kong's Mid-Autumn traditions. Through notes and newsprint alike, stories of community, gratitude, and hope unfold.

Musicus Artistic Director and cellist Trey Lee leads emerging homegrown musicians in a concert series that gives us a glimpse of how other cultures celebrate this season and our shared human experiences. Vivaldi’s “Autumn” dances with festive joy, Beethoven’s prayer of thanksgiving rises after illness, and Copland’s Hoedown brims with exuberant energy. Together, they trace the rhythms of gathering, from the contemplative to the festive.

Curated by We Toast HK, clippings from decades past reveal a festival rooted in generosity and shared joy, alongside the rich history of Mooncake Clubs. These fragments speak of a community that has always found ways to connect, across generations and through changing times.

As the harvest comes in, let music and memories bring us together.
