Dual winners of the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition showcase virtuosic artistry

Praised by The Strad for their intimate performance, Hong Kong’s leading chamber ensemble Musicus Soloists Hong Kong (MSHK) welcomes Angela Chan and Jacques Forestier, joint-winners of the prestigious Joseph Joachim Violin Competition at Hannover in 2024. The two bright young soloists will dazzle audiences with their superb skills in Locatelli's “Harmonic Labyrinth” and Tartini's Devil's Trill.

In addition to the two thrillingly demanding masterpieces, Artistic Director Trey Lee and guest leader Minna Pensola will take the stage in Vivaldi’s double concerto; while Satie’s atmospheric Gymnopédies are complemented by entrancing contact flow arts. Closing the rousing Musicus Fest is Beethoven’s iconic and awe-inspiring Fifth Symphony (strings version), charting a powerful journey from fate to triumph.

Come witness the annual showcase of MSHK, where established rising stars from Hong Kong gather from all over the world to stage sublime music-making.
