From Hong Kong to Berlin: Hear the Music, Explore the Heritage
Berlin. A city full of history, cultural heritage and stories. Many composers had a special relationship with this beautiful city, among the most notable being Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach in the 18th century and Kurt Weill in the 20th century.

In this on-location performance, Musicus Artistic Director Trey Lee teams up with three of Musicus’s Young Artists, as well as artists from renowned European ensembles, to perform iconic works of these two illustrious composers in Berlin. Through C.P.E. Bach’s Symphony in C Major and Kurt Weill’s tango song Youkali, this 20-minute online concert gives audiences, especially students in Hong Kong, a glimpse of the special relationship between composers, their works and the history of the German capital, and an inspiration in the discovery of music in all its diverse facets.

All the content of works are independently produced by the organiser/ creative team, and do not reflect the views or opinions of the Jockey Club Musicus Heritage Alive project nor The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
