Musicus Society is launching a series of Free Educational Talks on “Studying Music Overseas”. Famous musicians and educators will be speaking to Artistic Director Trey Lee, sharing their thoughts and insights on topics ranging from auditions to experiences at various renowned music institutions.

Stephen Hough, world-renowned pianist and professor at The Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music London, and the Royal Northern College of Music Manchester will be the first speaker of the Series. Named by The Economist as one of 20 Living Polymaths, Hough is also a writer, composer and painter. He has won global acclaim for his outstanding performances.

Other speakers of this Series include: David Chan (Concertmaster of Metropolitan Opera, Juilliard professor and alumnus of Harvard) and those from other leading music institutions in Europe and America.
