Hong Kong Stars Reunited

A star-studded bill of Hong Kong artists has been assembled for this gala evening to celebrate the Musicus Society’s 10th anniversary. Artistic Director and renowned cellist Trey Lee welcomes back one of Asia’s leading jazz guitarists, Hong Kong’s own Eugene Pao, to reprise Trey’s radical reimagining of Astor Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires for cello, electric guitar and string ensemble.

The evening also offers a unique chance to hear the Musicus Anniversary Ensemble with multiple award-winning and internationally feted teenage prodigy violinists Hannah Tam and Wong Pui-ying. Each will partner a Young Artist prizewinner, Cherry Yeung and Matthew Chin in a Vivaldi concerto for two violins.

In difficult times, it is more important than ever to embrace our common humanity, and what better way is there to do so than making music. Truly, music connects us!
