Position Available - Project Manager

(Ref. PM/2019/12/MS)


Job Description

  • Supervising the execution of Musicus Heritage, a 3-year project;
  • Planning and supervising the production of concerts, events, marketing activities and education programs for the Project;
  • Coordinating with local and overseas artists and/or their agencies;
  • Supervising and working closely with third-parties including designers, PR agencies, hotels, venue providers, concert management production companies and/or other event partners to ensure quality and smooth execution; and
  • Coordinating with the sponsors and preparing reports and monitoring the budget.
 
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of full-time work experience with at least 3 years of full-time work experience in the arts administration, preferably including experience in programming or marketing/PR/event;
  • Experienced in working at a small office/a small team at an NGO will be helpful;
  • Knowledge of music and other art disciplines will be advantage;
  • Excellent English written skills;
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, and Putonghua preferably;
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with good common sense, detail-oriented, and a good team player;
  • Competence in IT including Excel;
  • A degree holder or above and
  • Working location: Chai Wan.

Position Available - Accounting Executive

Job Description
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department;
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records;
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements;
  • Preparing ad hoc assignments as needed

Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Level 2 in Accounting or equivalent;
  • Able to operate with Excel, MYOB, MS Word; and
  • Working location: Chai Wan

Position Available - Arts Administration Intern

Musicus Society seeks a motivated student or recent graduate to participate in the organization’s day–to-day operations that include general office administration, accounting, and involvement in some long-range strategic planning. This internship is an opportunity for a student to learn more about arts administration. The intern will also have exposure to all areas of the organization such as marketing, programming and fundraising.
This position is best suited for someone who has a strong interest in arts administration.
 
Requirements
  • University or college students;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with good common sense, meticulous, and a good team player;
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, and Putonghua preferably;
  • Competence in IT including Excel and MS Word; and
  • Working location: Chai Wan

Time Commitment
16 hours per week from January to December 2020

Hours of Work
Our office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Schedule subject to change, may include weekend and evening hours. Hours to be determined based on applicant’s schedule and program calendar.
