Promote Cross-cultural Collaboration of Music Internationally

Finland Tour: Kuhmo Chamber Music 2026

Led by Artistic Director Trey Lee, Musicus Soloists Hong Kong (MSHK) will perform in five concerts at Kuhmo Chamber Music 2026, part of Finland Festivals’ “Festival of the Year 2026” in the European Capital of Culture region. These appearances mark the ensemble’s Finnish debut highlighting collaborations with guest leader musicians from Finland and beyond while further nurturing the artistic growth of Hong Kong’s homegrown talents.

MSHK members are no strangers to Kuhmo’s visionary artistic directors Antti Tikkanen and Minna Pensola, who have performed and mentored them in recent Musicus Fest and heritage programs in Hong Kong. The orchestra is honored to represent Hong Kong at Kuhmo Chamber Music’s 56th edition under the theme “Celebrations and Ceremonies”, taking part in several festival events across the two-week program. The repertoire will include Trey Lee’s acclaimed arrangement of Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, as well as works by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Adams.

In addition to the orchestral performances, Trey and MSHK members Dominic Law (double bass) and Hoi Yan-lok (viola) will also appear in selected chamber concerts during the festival.

This tour performance is funded by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, with financial support from Bank of China (Hong Kong) and The Tung Foundation.
