Baritone Mauro Borigioni is a specialist in Baroque repertoire. He has sung the roles of Orfeo and Apollo in “L’Orfeo” by Monteverdi; Aeneas in “Dido & Aeneas” by Purcell; and Astolfo in “Oralndo Furioso” by Vivaldi. His repertoire includes masterpieces like “Christmas Oratorio”, “St. Matthew’s & St. John’s Passions, Mass in B Minor” by J. S. Bach; Handel’s “Messiah” as well as sacred masterpieces by Haydn Mozart and Fauré.
Borgoni has collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles in Europe. He has also sung in some of the most important halls and theaters including Wien Konzerthaus, Teatro Regio Torino, Cité de la Musique Paris, Kolner Philharmonie, Auditorium de Madrid, National Centre for Arts of Beijing. Borigioni has participated in various festivals and concert seasons in Europe, the Americas and Canada.
