Silver medalist of the 1998 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Latica Honda-Rosenberg has appeared across the world as a soloist with eminent orchestras including the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Hanover, MDR Symphony Orchestra Leipzing, the Deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin, Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre National de Belgique, Russian State Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Prague Chamber Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst others. She has released several famous recordings under Oehms Classics with The STRAD selecting one of them with works by Bloch as CD of the Month.
Born to Croatian-Japanese parents, Honda-Rosenberg was a student of Tibor Varga and Zakhar Bron. Between 2003 and 2009, she held a professorship at Musikhochschule Freiburg. In 2009, she was appointed professor at the Berlin University of Arts.
