Musicus Heritage Community Concert Series – (Neo)Classical at HKU

Musicus Fest embarks on another heritage journey with a visit to one of Hong Kong’s hidden cultural gems, the Foundation Chamber at the University of Hong Kong’s Hung Hing Ying Building. The erudite ambience and unaffected simplicity of the architecture resonate with the elegant lines, articulated phrases and translucent texture in chamber works by Stravinsky and Turina. The concert also premieres David Chan Ho-yi’s commissioned work, East meets West, inspired by cross-cultural influences manifested at this distinctive site.
